Özel Mersin Ortadoğu Hospital began serving patients in 2008 with a capacity of 42 beds in Mersin. Following its acquisition by the Ortadoğu Hospitals Group in January 2011, the hospital entered a new phase of growth. With an additional building investment and extensive renovation completed in 2012, our institution expanded its intensive care capacity and became an A-class hospital with significantly enhanced infrastructure and service capability.

Today, our hospital offers a comprehensive healthcare ecosystem that includes adult intensive care units, surgical and internal medicine departments, pediatric services, physical therapy and rehabilitation units, a chemotherapy center, and a fully developed oncology department. This integrated structure allows us to provide a seamless journey from diagnosis to treatment and recovery for both local and international patients.

In 2015, with approval from the Ministry of Health, our total bed capacity increased to 220 beds. We currently operate with 47 intensive care beds, 7 operating rooms, and 15 neonatal beds. In addition, our hospital is designed to support patient comfort with 4 VIP Suites, 26 Standard Suites, 28 Standard Rooms, and 24 Oncology Service beds, creating a safe and welcoming environment for patients and their companions.

Özel Mersin Ortadoğu Hospital is among the leading healthcare institutions in the region, particularly in Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery. Between 2011 and 2022, our experienced teams successfully performed approximately 10,000 Coronary Bypass surgeries and 80,000 Angiography procedures. These achievements reflect not only our strong clinical expertise, but also the reliability of our advanced medical infrastructure.

In 2017, our Oncology Department became a pioneering center among private hospitals in Mersin by introducing a comprehensive cancer care model that includes Radiation Oncology and Nuclear Medicine units. This enables us to provide diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up services under one roof, ensuring continuity, convenience, and confidence for our patients.
